The Clandeboye Lodge Hotel was recently awarded a well deserved fourth star by the Automobile Association following completion of its £1M redevelopment scheme, making it the only 4-Star Hotel in North Down.

Commenting on the Hotel’s hospitality the AA inspector stated “…strengths of this stay focused on the physical presentation of the hotel, the smart and stylish bedrooms, check in and check out, and the positive output from the kitchen at both dinner and breakfast. Housekeeping in all areas is of a high standard. The range of services meets the expectations of the new grade, while hospitality and customer care remain an obvious strength of the hotel. Service at dinner and breakfast were strong aspects. My restaurant meal showed good use of quality ingredients and continues to be worthy of the award of One AA Rosette. Future plans for the hotel are exciting and I wish the Hotel’s team every success”.
