The Clandeboye Lodge Hotel was delighted to host the New Zealand Under 19's Rugby Team, the winners of the 2007 Under 19's Rugby World Championship.
Team Manager Mike Sandle commented, "The New Zealand under 19 rugby team were fortunate to be based at Clandeboye Lodge during our successful World Cup campaign. We have warm and fond memories of our time spent in Northern Ireland and we were pleased to call The Clandeboye Lodge our home with the relaxed atmosphere contributing greatly to our success. Simon King and David Myers, the Hairy Bikers, stayed at the Clandeboye Lodge whilst filming the Northern Ireland search for Britain's lost recipes. According to Si and Dave " the fantastic welcome, food and hospitality made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable".
