A mix of dark oak panelling offset with linear stainless steel highlights, custom designed carpet and furniture in warm greys, concealed lighting and simple recessed downlights create a contemporary feel to this latest development at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel. According to Noel McClarty of Hall Black Douglas, the scheme is "minimal in its design and reserved in its palette, yet its ambience is that of a calming relaxation".

Simon King and David Myers, the Hairy Bikers, stayed at the Clandeboye Lodge whilst filming the Northern Ireland search for Britain's lost recipes. According to Si and Dave " the fantastic welcome, food and hospitality made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable".
