Excellent food standards at Clandeboye Lodge

Following the annual December food safety inspection, Colin Magill, North Downs' senior environmental health officer stated " at a time of the year when we all take the hospitality industry for granted, I would ask you to forward my commendation to all your staff for their continued excellent standards". The primary purpose of the food safety inspections and "scores on the doors" schemes is to ensure that food businesses comply with the law, supply food that is safe to eat and empower consumers so that they can make more informed choices about the places from which they purchase food.
