Open again
We reopened on Friday 10th July, with hotel stays and the brasserie operating. We were greeted by regulars and new guests alike who loved the space and lots of new features to keep you and our staff safe. The heated outdoor extension to the Coq & Bull brasserie was a huge success.

Preparation time was short but we promised we wouldn’t cut corners and we didn’t.

We want you to feel comfortable, relaxed and above all, safe in the knowledge that we have done everything possible to take care of your health and wellbeing. And, based on all the feedback we received, we achieved just that.

A new normal
We’ll all have to get used to some new ways of doing things. For a while, we may not be able to shake your hand or help with your luggage but, as always, the smile and the craic will be there – just a little further away. To us it comes as second nature to welcome you warmly and look after your every need. We’ll go that extra mile to bring you the standards of service for which we are renowned. Together we can make it a time of respite, relaxation and reconnection. Let’s face it, if ever there was a time for finding some space and a way to enjoy the good things in life, it’s now.

Coq & Bull brasserie
At the heart of our welcome, Emmajane’s team and the kitchen brigade in the Coq & Bull brasserie offer a truly rare dining experience. The finest local, seasonal produce, wonderfully cooked and presented, matched with a superb wine list and cocktails. To help with the need to distance, we’ve created some exciting new outdoor dining spaces, including a new heated, outdoor terrace to enjoy. In order to make more room for our chefs to work safely, we have slightly reduced the number of dishes on our autumn menu but will change it more frequently to keep our regulars happy.

Online booking calendars are now open and taking bookings, so come on in eat, drink and enjoy a night out again.

Weddings and events
Weddings and events will restart soon but for now, we are processing the latest regulations and guidelines announced last week. There are still some important gaps in this information which we are pressing to have filled. We’ll be in touch as soon as we have the full picture and a firm set of protocols in hand.

Existing wedding and event bookings
If you have a booking and you have not heard from us already, we will be in touch with you as soon as we possibly can. We promise to do our very best for you but ask you to please understand that we must deal with the most imminent bookings first and we will take the rest in date order.

Future wedding and event bookings.
