Please note, occasionally there may be a lunch or dinner event in the events building, but these would be in a separate suite. Yes, we always have last-minute wedding dates  available within the next 6 months. Our bespoke Swept Away wedding package provides you with everything you need for a stress-free planning experience. We understand that sometimes love just can't wait, our dedicated wedding team are happy to explore options with you. No such thing as short notice.

We have four wedding suites available to host your special day, all full of charm, style and real character.

• The Clandeboye Suite - perfect for large weddings with direct access to our beautiful, landscaped gardens, accommodating up to 300 guests.
• The Viceroy Suite - excellent for medium sized weddings, with a private roof terrace and access to our Diplomat Lounge. Ideal for receptions of up to 100 guests.
• The Blackwood Suite - detailed with arched timber beams and gothic windows for an enchanting ambience for wedding ceremonies for up to 135 guests, or intimate wedding receptions for up to 60 guests.
• The Sheriden Suite - a cool, contemporary space with access to a covered terrace area and feature firepit. Perfect for your pre-dinner drinks reception.

Yes, Clandeboye Lodge offers the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony in Northern Ireland within our beautifully landscaped gardens, with capacity for up to 165 guests. And, of course, ceremonies held outside are still fully legal and recognised. Should the weather not cooperate on your special day, don't worry, we always have a backup plan. We can host your ceremony inside, with space for up to 165 guests in the Viceroy Suite, or 135 in the Blackwood Suite, ensuring your day is perfect, come rain or shine.

Yes, we are a family-friendly and child-friendly wedding venue, so the little ones in your life can certainly be a part of your big day too. To ensure both adults and children have a fantastic time, and to help take the stress away, we've seen some wonderful fun wedding ideas for kids' entertainment at our venue. Yes, we'd love for your furry friend to be a part of your special day. We welcome dogs at the ceremony and drinks reception. As part of our pet policy, we kindly ask that your dog be picked up before your meal commences, allowing all guests to fully relax and enjoy the dining experience.

If you are organising from afar and can’t make it in person, please get in touch, and our team will be happy to discuss how we can assist you with a remote viewing process.

We're happy to hold a wedding date for you provisionally for up to two weeks. It’s important that you have time to discuss your decision with your partner and key family members without feeling rushed. Please do let us know within that fortnight if you've made your decision so we can finalise everything for your special day. Our wedding team are happy to answer any wedding venue questions you may have to help you come to a decision.

The deposit schedule is as follows:

• First deposit: £750 within 2 weeks of booking
• Second deposit: £750, 3 months later
• Third deposit: 50% of the contract total, 1 year before the wedding
• Final balance: 3 days before the wedding

If your wedding date falls outside of this typical timeframe, we'll work with you to mutually agree upon an altered deposit schedule that suits your needs.

Hiring a wedding planner is certainly not necessary when you book your wedding at Clandeboye Lodge. Our experienced team has all the knowledge and expertise needed to seamlessly plan and execute your special day. They'll work closely with you, guiding you through every step of the process and ensuring every detail is perfect. Of course, the decision is entirely yours!

During the week of your wedding, you are welcome to visit the venue for a rehearsal. This is a great opportunity to walk through your ceremony, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and confident for the main event. We also love to help you extend your celebration with pre-wedding meals or get-togethers. We offer a variety of fantastic options for these more intimate gatherings, from dining in our Coq & Bull brasserie to hosting a private intimate dinner in our Blackwood Suite or Sheridan Suite.

We will store your place cards, wedding cake, flowers etc. for you. These can all be left off 3 days before your big day. Thanks to our one wedding per day policy, your vendors can access our venue from 9am on the morning of your wedding. This ensures ample time for set-up, deliveries and any final touches.

We don't allow confetti outdoors. We absolutely love sparklers! They add a magical touch to your wedding photos, especially in our Sheridan Suite courtyard area with its bespoke fire pit. To ensure safety, we ask that sparklers are used with a metal bucket filled with sand and a few pairs of gloves.
